　　這點主要針對寫個人簡歷，內容所提到的年份必須要有連貫性，列明每年的工作崗位，就算有些年份沒有工作做，亦要注明。如果有些年份會同時期讀書及工作亦要注明是兼讀形式，以免雇主對你過去工作有太多的懷疑，對你的申請缺乏興趣。

　　常犯錯誤：有些人在工作數年后，會抽身全職進修，之后一年未有工作做，但當求職時，個人簡歷卻漏寫了待業的資料。
