　　Fred: How was your date recently?

　　佛瑞德：你進來的約會進展如何呢?

　　David: Not too bad. It is seemingly too hard for me to find a place for our date.

　　大衛：不算很糟。但似乎對于我而言，太難找到一個合適的.約會地點了。

　　Fred: I guess so. Going to watch a movie and having dinner at a restaurant are usual.

　　佛瑞德：我猜也是這樣。看部電影然后吃頓飯這是最普遍的了。

　　David: She said she wanted to go Dutch in dating.

　　大衛：她還說要采取AA制。

　　Fred: Yes, now many girls want to be independent, so it is a little popular, especially among white collars.

　　佛瑞德：是啊，現在的女孩兒們都想要獨立，所以AA制很是流行，特別是在白領階層之中。

　　David: But I am still traditional, so I felt weird when she paid for herself.

　　大衛：但我仍然還是很傳統的，總覺得她自己付自己的賬怪怪的。

　　Fred: Forget about it!

　　佛瑞德：別惦記這事了。

　　David: Are you satisfied with your girlfriend?

　　大衛：你對你的女友滿意嗎?

　　Fred: It will be a long story. We have many differences, for example, she usually puts all her clothes into washing machine. That is the sort of thing I can not bear.

　　佛瑞德：這可說起來話長了我們之間有太多不同了，比如說，她總是把所有的衣物放在洗衣機里面洗，這可是我鋮不能忍受的。

　　Janice: How was your first date, David? Are you satisfied with Jane?

　　賈尼斯：大衛，你的第一次約會進展如何?你對簡還滿意吧?

　　David: It was all right. She, tall and attractive, has stable job and source of income.

　　大衛：還算可以吧!她個子高、模樣好，還有穩定的工作和收入來源。

　　Janice: Yes, so I think she is suitable for you.

　　賈尼斯：好，所以我想著她是比較適合你的。

　　David: But, well… what I want to say is…

　　大衛：但是，哦……我想說的是……

　　Janice: Stop acting like this. Say away!

　　賈尼斯：別這樣。有話直說。

　　David: Her standard for selecting life partner is little higher. I can not accept that.

　　大衛：她擇偶的標準有點高。我無法接受。

　　Janice: What did she say?

　　賈尼斯：她是怎么說的呢?

　　David: She said she want a man with large house, luxurious car and healthy parents.

　　大衛：她說她想找一個有大房、有豪車還有健康的家長的男子。

　　Janice: Give her up!

　　賈尼斯：放棄她吧!
