other的用法
another與the other 和others 與the others都來源于other這個詞。
其用法是:
another泛指三個或三個以上的人或物中沒有確定的另一個,
another+數(shù)字+名詞= 數(shù)字+more+名詞
the other則指已知的兩個人或兩事物中的另一個。
others或 other+ 名詞,泛指"別的人或別的物"
the others指"一定范圍內(nèi)的其余的人或物"。
注意:若強調(diào)確定數(shù)目中的"一(幾)個"與其余的,用one...the others或"the other +復(fù)數(shù)名詞"結(jié)構(gòu)。
